Dr. Avi Weisfogel is a New Jersey-based dentist. He started his career in dentist and gained success rapidly. He obtained a degree in Biology and Psychology from the Rutgers University. He has a PhD. in Dental Surgery credential from New York University. He is a visionary man and believed any possibilities could become a reality. One such possibility was using dentistry to offer other solutions other than toot related ones. He strived to help people suffering from sleeping apnea using dentistry.
The idea seemed abnormal, since dentistry and sleep disorders are two things that seem not to be related in any way. His mission was not a smooth one where he faced various challenges with some resulting from the neglect of other physicians in performing sleeping tests on their patients. His mission required traveling around the world, and this required coming up with an effective strategy that would see him achieve his goal more efficiently.
He embarked on achieving his mission by coming up with the Owner Unlimited Sleep Patients in 2012. The platform was a common ground and acted as a think tank where professionals in sleep and dentists shared their perspective on sleep apnea. The platform also facilitates interaction between stakeholders where Weisfogel gives lectures on various models general medicine and methods in sleep dentistry.
Dr. Weisfogel thought of a way to give relief to patients suffering from sleep apnea. He went ahead and launched the Dental Sleep Master’s Program to tailor sleep appliances meant for providing relief. The program specialized in giving therapy applied orally. Obstructing breathing while sleeping is a common cause of sleeping disorders. This program was tailored to address this issue.
He attributes his success in offering a solution for sleep disorders to persistence and never giving up on his dream. Having a deep understanding of marketing is an attribute that has enabled the dentist to come up with such a unique program in the medical field. He believes everything is possible and is always ready to learn and improve himself and his practice. He strives to see other doctors be successful in sleep medicine.
